Tasting Notes:

The winemaker Lee Nesbitt has a strong belief that great wines are made in the vineyard. Specifically, a wine’s character is developed in the vineyard and the wine’s personality is crafted in the winery. The 2007 California Chardonnay is a result of attention to detail, specifically in the selection of grapes. We have found that not all areas of our vineyards will produce this type of classic Chardonnay.

 

The 2007 Chardonnay is loaded with aromas of pears, apples, lemon, spice, honey and a touch of oak. All of these flavors follow through in the palate and finish with notes of butter and oak. This Chardonnay was 100% Stainless Steel fermented and 100% MLF to help round out the mouth feel.
