A unique after dinner wine, DECO blends the best ports of California and South Australia, gently kissed with essences of natural chocolate. A youthful port made from traditional Portuguese grape varieties grown in the San Joaquin Valley of Central California is married with aged tawnys produced in the McLaren Vale and Barossa Valley of South Australia, creating a rich, sensual dessert wine. A final addition of a dark chocolate essence makes this wine unforgettable. The essence is made exclusively for DECO by the US division of Borthwicks, one of Europe's best-known natural essence purveyors.
Amber tones glow from the glass. A warm, nutty aroma fills the air. This is DUET, a classic after dinner wine with a hint of natural hazelnut. Grown in the San Joaquin Valley of California and crafted in Sonoma, DUET is made from the same grape variety and vinted in much the same manner as many well-known Spanish fortified wines. A final addition of natural hazelnut essence creates an after-dinner wine that works as a dessert, with dessert, or served alone, as an aperitif. The 100% natural hazelnut essence was created for DUET by the US division of Borthwicks, one of Europe's best known natural essence purveyors.
The winemakers of South Australia have been making world-class ports for more than 100 years. In particular, the aged tawny ports from McLaren Vale and Barossa Valley are outstanding. The MADURO blend is hand-selected from the finest port producers in these two regions. The unique blend consists of a smooth, dark, 8-year old liqueur port and a rich, amber, tawny port that averages 20 years in age.
